Born in Brazil, Léo Eymard was first introduced to music at the age of five, when he began studying the piano. At nine, he switched to the guitar. He launched his professional career at fifteen, performing at various events and winning awards in several major Brazilian performance and composition competitions. A music graduate of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, he has taught guitar at Cifra Club since 2009. He is proficient in both seven-string and fingerstyle guitar, counting Yamandu Costa and Tommy Emmanuel among his primary musical idols. He is also a digital content creator and performs both in Brazil and around the world.

Léo Eymard, born January 24, 1986, is a Brazilian fingerstyle guitarist and music educator.

Performance Career

Rooted in Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and international pop, his playing combines melodic clarity, technical precision, and a refined sense of groove. He performed with the band Casaquatro, and his eponymous YouTube channel—home to high-quality acoustic covers and original compositions—has built a community of more than 70,000 subscribers, reaching a worldwide audience through Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

Teaching

He has long taught guitar at Cifra Club and develops learning projects including Violão Agora Vai and Clube do Fingerstyle, covering structured practice, ear training, theory and fingerstyle arranging.
