From 1 January 2026, Kepma guitars use an internal authenticity label with a 13-digit or 8-digit SN code instead of the former headstock QR label. Existing QR labels remain valid. Check the SN code on the official website or WeChat account, or scan the label QR code with WeChat.

To protect your purchase, please buy only from Kepma authorised dealers or official sales channels (check here). Products from authorised channels are officially certified, so you receive a genuine instrument together with full after-sales service, warranty and technical support.

Many products from unauthorised channels are of unknown origin, counterfeit, or come without proper after-sales service, which may affect your playing experience and your warranty rights. Please check the sales channel carefully before buying, and if you have any doubt about a dealer’s credentials, feel free to confirm it through Kepma official channels.

Choosing an official authorised channel is the double guarantee of product quality and after-sales service.

Kepma (Kama / Kapma) Guitar Authenticity Check

Enter the security code on the back of the headstock or on the label inside the soundhole to verify your guitar (usually 8, 12 or 13 characters). If the seller appears in the authorised dealer list below and the code returns genuine, your instrument is authentic. Otherwise it may be a counterfeit, a second-grade or a defective instrument, for which no official after-sales service is guaranteed.
