Callum McGaw’s repertoire includes film, television and game music. He began publishing performances in 2012 and moved into music full-time in 2021. His website provides fingerstyle tabs and information about live-performance services.

Digital releases and game-score EP

A Tribute to the Last of Us, Pt. 2 was released on 3 July 2020 as a five-track EP, running about 11 minutes. It provides an album-format listening route alongside the individual game-score performances featured here.

Born on May 18, 1993, in Paisley, Scotland, Callum started playing the guitar at the age of 10—beginning with the electric guitar before eventually transitioning to classical and folk fingerstyle.

He studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow and won second place in the institution’s guitar competition.

He began uploading videos online in 2012 and quickly amassed a large following. In 2021, he left a promising career to fully dedicate himself to music.

He is set to tour the world as an official artist for Kepma Guitars!

Musical Style & Streaming Milestones

Inspired by composers and guitarists such as Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi and Eddie van der Meer, Callum brings famous movie scores, TV themes and gaming soundtracks to life through the fingerstyle guitar — his arrangements from The Last of Us are among his most popular videos.

He has released collaborative singles with Danish fingerstyle guitarist Casper Esmann — “See You Again” (2023) and “Love Story – Acoustic Instrumental” (2024) — plus “Celestial” (2022) with Edward Ong, alongside singles such as “Heartbeats” and “Matilda”. In 2025 his music was featured on Germany’s MDR Klassik radio and charted on the UK Singer/Songwriter chart.
