From 2009
to Today
Seventeen years of dedication—moving forward steadily, one step at a time.
Kanon Guitar Factory was established in Huizhou; the 122 Quality Initiative was launched that same year.
The brand name changed from Kanon to Kepma, and the A1C and D1C were launched.
The production base relocated to Dongguan, with continued upgrades to the manufacturing system.
New products were introduced, and the brand opened stores on Tmall and JD.com.
The G1 launched worldwide; BACCI five-axis CNC equipment was introduced; and a U.S. subsidiary was established.
The F1, EAC/EDC, A1, and other series were launched, and the first Kepma Cup was held.
The ES36 and the flagship all-solid B1 guitar were released.
The new G1-GA body shape and the F0 mahogany solid-top series were introduced.
The F2 and the eco-friendly Green Earth G131 series were launched.
The brand’s Chinese descriptor was temporarily changed following a bad-faith trademark registration.
New models including the F0 Pro, S231mini, and ROM-0 were released; a factory open day was held; and renowned artist Wang Yemin joined Kepma.
The Kepma trademark returned, and the DAS Dynamic String Action System was introduced.
